Boo Hiss, she's behind you and all of the other expressions used at the panto. Straight from the story of Cinderella and the glass slipper and we all know someone has to be the Ugly Sister. And traditionally the Ugly Sisters were always played by blokes, so yes this is the perfect excuse to see just why it takes them so long to get dressed and ready to go out! Perfect for Christmas panto or surely the ultimate in office party chic, this is a stunning costume in satin and velvet.

Our Ugly Sister costume in yellow comprises of a full length short sleeved yellow ballgown dress which features a vee-shaped neckline with, er, all required stuffing is already in the position in all the right places, yes both of them! The top is of yellow velvet and the sleeves are of green satin which are trimmed around the cuffs with white as are the shoulder straps. The bustline is edged with white and there is a delicate green satin bow, printed with a small heart design, at the centre. The dress in yellow satin, is very full and this creates a rounded hemline to the floor. At the waist there are green satin peplums which are edged with white lace and which are attached to a white waistband. Peplums are short flounces at the hip which accentuate the hips and they provide a great contrast to the bulk of the dress.
