This is worn over a short sleeved dress comprising white top with low vee neckline and brodereise anglaise lace sleeve cuffs which are elasticated to create a puffed effect.

The dress has a red velvet skirt which matches the cape and is just above knee length. To create the effect of a petticoat, the hemline of the skirt is also trimmed with white brodereise anglaise lace trim.
