Full Cut Sailor Fancy Dress Costume for Men

Look, we're just not sure why this sailor is prancing around in the photographs.  We do know, however, that this is a great extra large Sailor's costume in a traditional navy blue and comprises of a mid-length sleeve top which features a high neck line.  The cuffs of the sleeves are decorated with two bands of a light silver or white braid, one around the cuff itself and the other slightly higher.  The front of the shirt is decorated with a golden anchor motif appliqué which is located high in the left of the chest.  The shirt is worn outside of a pair of matching bell-bottomed trousers which feature and elasticated waist for a comfortable fit.

 

This full cut Sailor costume also includes a white collar or tie, which is worn around the neck with the main element of the collar being on the back of the neck. The edge of the collar is decorated with a navy blue banding and the back is decorated with two golden stars, one in each corner.  The fancy dress is completed with a white dough boy hat which also features a golden anchor appliqué as would befit any sailor in any port!
