Horrible Histories Chimney Sweep Fancy Dress Costume

From our kid's Horrible Histories costume collection, this is a great dress up idea for any historical re-enactment of either Mary Poppins or the histroical period that it was set in. This is our children's Chimney Sweep costume which is made to look a little grubby so you won't need to send your boy up the chimney. The gruesome fact was that if a boy became stuck or worse fell asleep whilst up a chimney, his master would light a fire beneath him to get him moving - ouch! This is a great costume idea in support of KS2 costumed role play activities allowing the development of storylines covering aspects of the National Curriculum allowing children to gain an insight into peoples lives in different periods of time. Our Chimney Sweep costume comprises of a long sleeved grey top which has an attached green vest with faux buttons. Attached to the sleeve is the Horrible Historis badge. Included with the outfit is a pair of matching dark grey trousers which feature an elasticated waist band for a comfortable fit and the they have jagged ankles. Our Chim,ney Sweep costume is completed with a burgundy red neck scarf and a green hat.
