Horrible Histories Henry VIII Fancy Dress Costume for Boys

From our Horrible Histories costume collection, this is a great dress up idea for any historical re-enactment of the Tudor period with it's bloody Henry VIII at the center of things. A ruler for 38 years of torture and during his reign about 72,000 people were executed which is about 5 people every day! Aside from his reign of terror and love of food, this is a great costume idea in support of KS2 costumed role play activities allowing the development of storylines covering aspects of the National Curriculum and therefore allowing children to gain an insight into peoples lives in different periods of time. Our Henry VIII costume comprises of a long sleeved tunic which features a high rounded neckline trimmed with a white collar.  The tunic has the appearance of a regal robe being worn over a long sleeved grey tunic. The cuffs of the sleeves are finished with a ruffle of white lace and gold braid, restricted to the red 'robe' adorns the sleeves and hemline. The whole tunic has embellishments around the neck etc depicting and befitting of the monarch. Our imposing Henry VIII costume for boys is completed with a black hat trimmed with luxurious white marabou fur fabric around the brim. Please note, the model is wearing white hose which are not included with the outfit - a couple of pair of white tights would do the trick, but we'll leave you to tell him!
