Our Tudor Boy fancy dress can easily be at home in the palace or in a well to do house, who knows maybe he had his own whipping boy! A great historical costume and will be useful for KS2 costume role play activities allowing the development of story lines covering aspects of the National Curriculum and therefore allowing children to gain an insight into peoples lives in different periods of time. Our boy's historical Tudor fancy dress comprises of a long sleeved, long length top which has a high rounded neckline with a white ruff which match the sleeves with the body of the tunic styled top being blue. This is worn with the black belt over the top as shown. Included with the outfit are a pair of trousers which have an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit. The trousers have attached black faux leather boot covers with turnovers below the knee which are trimmed with gold braid. Our Tudor costume is completed with a wide floppy styled hat in matching blue and this too has a gentle gold braid around the edge of the brim. This is a stylised Tudor fancy dress and is ideal for school productions and book weeks as well as being a great costume for normal dressing up and party wear.
