High in the Tyrolean Alps and sure to be spotted at any bierfest or beer festival is our German Maid costume which is just one of our huge collection of Oktoberfest costumes and adult fancy dress.  This delightful outfit, which would light up any Oktoberfest, comprises of a simulated black leather bodice which features a red lacing detail which is threaded through metal eyelets.  The bodice's shoulder straps are decorated with typically Bavarian braid which has red, green and white flowers.  The bodice is flared toward the hemline which is also trimmed with red braid to match that used to decorate the bust line. The bodice is worn over a white blouse featuring a gypsy style elasticated neckline and which has short sleeves with elasticated cuffs trimmed with wide delicate lace. The green skirt is also decorated with Tyrolean braid as outlined above and it has an elasticated waistband for a comfortable fit. The skirt is completed with a short white apron decorated with braid and edged with more of the white lace.
