Maltese Cross Crown in gold featuring a sculptured crown body in a matt gold finish and which incorporates four Maltese Crosses which are inter-spaced with golden leaf design elements. The upper edge of the crown is trimmed with a running golden ball chain which is lined either side with gold braid. The hat band of the crown has golden braid strands running around the lower edge.  These braids are accented with golden rivets. The body of the crown is also decorated with rich red coloured stones.
