Formal Military Hat
From our huge and exciting collection of military hats and helmets, this is the classic formal Military Hat, although we're sure that when we went to school, bus drivers wore similar! This very familiar style of hat is in black fabric with a red braid trim around the crown and above the hatband. Above the shiny peak, the symbol of any jobs worth, there is a silver grey braiding and to the front of the hatband there is a silver embroidered star and oak leaves badge. Although non-specific, this would make a good Soviet Bloc costume hat which is probably npo different to the jobs worth!
