Remember the infamous shower scene in Bates Motel? Well it was from the iconic film Psycho directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, John Gavin, and Janet Leigh. This was a true suspense/horror movie and although it was remade as a slasher movie in the late nineties, the original screenplay by Joseph Stefano which was based on the 1959 novel of the same name by Robert Bloch, is still considered as being the best. And it makes a great costume party theme allowing you to create your own version of Bate's Motel with vacancy signs and all the trimmings.
